Nick's Reef

Patiently awaiting for the new arrival. :)

Only 1080 lbs? I thought it would be alot heavier with such a big tank.

By "Patiently" you mean wearing a hole in your floor?

Yes. Old tank is spoken for. Maintains two large tanks would be too much for me.

Finally!

The delivery guy was extremely helpful and friendly when I greeted him. Pulled into the garage without me asking! I ended up giving him a very generous tip. My fear was that the they would just drop it off at the end of the driveway. Time to open her up!

One of the most disappointing day in my reef career. How can you send something like this out!! Where are bubbles in the silicone at every single seam. Not just a small bubble but lines and lines of bubbles. WTF??

Already sent Derek an email after taking those pictures... He responded without an hour later. He'll call me tomorrow. I'm not worry about it at all as there's no way I'm keeping this tank and I'm sure Miracles will take care of it. To be honest, I'm not as frustrated as I should be. It's just disappointing that I called in to release the shipping hold for Derek to check the tank for any bubbles. I told him I will send it back if there's any bubble on the seam. He obviously he didn't that because there's some form of bubble in every seam. Top and bottom eurobrace included. This will put a really big tarnish in Miracles in my book regardless how the issue is resolved. It's ashamed really that the only photos I took from the tank are defects from the tank. The tank dimension and the tank layout is really what I've dreamed about for a very long time.

All I can do now is enjoy the current running tank. :) The Elos quality makes the Miracle I just received look like kindergarten silicone job.

First, Yes Elos looks sleak and supper nice. I wish Elos makes their stand a few inches wider to cover the whole tank.

Second, yes again, not sure what happened that day when those guys put together your Miracles tank though. They must either had some drinks or shots.
People that got tank from Miracles were very satisfy with the work including myself.
so a little lesson learned here is never to rush anything in this hobby.

That sucks, but glad its not getting you down too much

your tank looks nice Nick.
what kind of chemical or oil that you used on this tank to prevent Coraline from forming on the glass?

I apologize in advance for other members who's reading my response and maybe sounded like I'm being a little rude or arrogant.

What kind of question is this? Have you even heard of such thing as oil you put on the glass to prevent coraline? The bottom line is, if you keep you tank clean by scraping the algae off every few days, there should be nothing growing on the glass. Period. No need for chemical or oil or any other bull******** other people tell you.
