Nick's Reef

I apologize in advance for other members who's reading my response and maybe sounded like I'm being a little rude or arrogant.

What kind of question is this? Have you even heard of such thing as oil you put on the glass to prevent coraline? The bottom line is, if you keep you tank clean by scraping the algae off every few days, there should be nothing growing on the glass. Period. No need for chemical or oil or any other bull******** other people tell you.

So Nick, would a fair translation be-

"Hey thanks for the kind words about my tank! The truth is there is no magic oil, just consistent scraping and cleaning of the glass every couple of days."

After all Nick, when one sees marvelous results, they look for extraordinary causes or suspect there are methods that they have nor yet heard about.

Hope all works out well with getting your new tank properly built. I can't imagine the disappointment after all that planning and waiting and even over-tipping the delivery guy!

Hahaha. Can I hire you to edit my post so that they're more diplomatic next time? :D

Anytime, no charge, but I wouldn't oppose a chance to view your reef sometime or perhaps someday that saltwater haven, Pepperell Cove, that you have been scheming about.

I can get to Hollis, NH in less than 5 minutes. Very close. Stop by anytime you like.
I also work in Billerica, MA so our commute is probably very similar. I hate route 3 in the morning.

That is to bad. I know someone else who had issues with a tank from them awhile back. I have been to busy to talk lately, but have been meaning to call you. I am having a couple issue with my tank I was hoping you could help me with. Good luck removing your issues.

An update from Miracle. Derek was totally understood the disappointment and he's asking another 5 weeks from me for them to make another tank and send it out. He said the bubble shouldn't any larger than a pin head.
I was very firm on my statement when I said, "Yes, I can give you 5 more weeks. However, if there's any bubble more than a pin head anywhere or more than a couple pin head size bubbles on the second tank, I will have to ask for my money back." He agreed to this and he said he will do all in his power to get the perfect tank out as soon as possible but he's asking for 5 weeks.

5 more weeks would put me somewhere in the end of October. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly and I can get the tank situated by the first snow flake.

that is good to hear. Glad that it is working out. 5 weeks will go by quick. It's a new tank where you dont need to do any cleaning. Cleaning a big used tank in the winter sucks big time when it's cold

This time, have him inspect the tank before shipping it out to you.
