nocturnal coral ideas

im looking for some ideas to put some corals in a good size cave i have any nocturnals you can think of other than sun corals? if you have a link or pic post it too. thx

Sun Polyps, they come in various colors. Non photosynthetic gorgonians.

Both may require manual target feeding

Carnation coral comes in red and orange but again it needs target feeding.

I was reading about chili corals too, but they require feeding

I think any cave coral will likely require feeding if they are bright..........................

Carnation corals are a great choice if you'd like to support the continued collection of pretty species that never survive long-term in captivity.

You're gonna have a hard time with most NPS stuff even if you were attempting to create an entire system around specifically keeping just them. Trying to do it in a regular reef tank will be nearly impossible and both the NPS and PS creatures may suffer.

Sun corals of course are manageable since they are big and you can actually target feed them stuff that they can capture and eat right away.

If you want to do NPS you really need a dedicated tank with an auto dosing system for food. Some of the NPS gorgonians can do ok in a mixed reef tank, but you have to be pretty dedicated. I would stick with sunpolyps if I were you.

never eaten mine and I have had one for 10 yrs.... Just sayin bud...
