Amazing!
Incredibly I obtained a animal that actually eats the nuisance algae that it is rumored to eat. These Turbo Snails are eating the "cotton candy algae" like crazy in my fuge! Go snails GO !!!!!!
Last night I noticed a rock (around 3"x3"x3" ) in the fuge that was covered with the cotton candy algae. This morning the algae on the rock was totally gone! It is truly amazing how fast the Turbos are eating this stuff. They seem to love it and actually seek it out over other algae in the tank.
I remember hearing : " Get this it eats flat worms" ...or "Get one of these it eats bryopsos" or "Get one of these, it eats hair algae". Most if not all of these claims have proven out to be false or not practically feasible, at least in my experience, in the past. So actually seeing an animal target feed on a nuisance plant is REALLY satisfying....for once, a real cure !
