Question about using my Calc Reactor

Just set up my Geo calc reactor and have a couple of questions. I am running it on my ACJr and have set the CO2 to turn on if the PH is > 6.8 and off if the PH is < 6.6. I am also dripping about 50ml/minute from the reactor back into the sump. Does this sound about right. Also, when should I retest my Alk and Cal? Is there anything that I should be looking out for during the day today to make sure that I don't overdose or crash my tank?

Thanks.

I think your on/off ph setting are way too low (unless this is freshwater or are testing the effulent ph) .

I have mine set to shut off when the ph of the tank drops to around 7.7.

Sorry, neglected to mention that the ph probe in in the calc chamber measuring the effluent.
