reef devil mag 7 upgrade

I changed the pump on my reef devil to a mag 7 from the cat 1800 that came with it. WOW what a difference. It skimmed more last night in 2 hours than it usually does in a day.

I would suggest this upgrade to anyone running a reef devil skimmer !!

Good to know you're happy with that setup. I just picked up one of these skimmers the other night from a BRS member in Providence, and was looking into getting a mag 7 for it.

Mags are a much better pumps than the cats. I think mags deliver more pressure than the cats and thats why they work better with these types of skimmers.
