are cucumbers reef safe...dont really care what the website says...i really need someting to help clean my sand. if they are reef safe how hard are they to care for?

i have a blk cucumber in my reef tank and it does an awsome job cleaning the sand bed, i did the drip aclimation and i've had him or her for 5 months or so.

I had a couple tiger tails in my old 55, until they were killed by an evil gorilla crab. I liked them, interesting creatures, and they keep the sand clean. The only thing I didn't like was they just pooped sand everywhere on top of corals and such, but not a big deal.

i thought i read somewhere that they were toxic...maybe it's just a certin type.

I think that mainly applies to the filter feeding type of cukes.
