I haven't added anything to my talk in 5 months. I recently bought new bulbs (api coral and blue plus). I have been maintaing weekly 5 gallon water changes but I know my nitrates are high as hair algae has been growing on my machanical filter. Right now livestock includes a scooter blenny, serpent star, snails, bubble tip, 2 true percs. Added clowns on friday and were doing very well until suddenly yhe smaller one stopped eating with no signs off illness other than sitting on the bottom without swimming.

I'm going to change filters/clean my machanical filter which I know is long overdue. Apc hob skimmer has been cleaned weekly. I'm also going to change 10 gallons and retest everything.

60gallon tank
Salinity 1.028
Nitrates 40ppm
Ammonia 0
Alk 7 dkh
pH 8.0 I believe hard to tell with api test
Nitrite 0
Any other suggestions before my wc?

There is nothing else in the tank but I just witnessed the scooter blenny attack the female clown. I have never heard of an aggressive dragonnet. Now what do I do? Let them sort out their differences?
