After having my green BTA thrive and then split, I lost one. You may remember my posting about the stank o' death. The second, was happy and healthy on the other side of the 75G until....

My MJ1200 fell from its mount and landed directly on it. It was DOF (Dead on Find) last night. Now I am BTA-less...

Why do I love this reef soo much when it treats me with such disrespect...

I guess in reality.... I put up with her just like any love... for better or for worse In red bugs and in health.. until death.. mental illness, or financial woes do us part...

Awww, David...my condolences to you. Here's hoping that in the future you'll have better luck with your BTA's....I just lost my second RBTA in as many months. I have a green (from Lenny) that is thriving in my FOWLR...figured I'd try rose (of course the price is right from work ) The first just withered away, the second wasn't looking too happy, then I noticed it in a ball on the sand, next thing you know, the tomato clown picked it up and fed it to the green. I guess that's a hint that they want no more anemones in the tank...lol...Looks like the green is gonna split now.....who knows with these things.....

and here i was wondering what to do with mine...you two wanna fight over it? its a BTA.....trade me a rock, i don't think i can get it off...that or your choice, theres a LTA
that i also have.

I'm all set with my one BTA...it definately is splitting! I don't think the tomatoes want another one in the tank....it's all yours David....but I will share the beer offer......

Actually...when I was tank shopping this weekend, I visited Mike up at AA. He had a Green BTA that he had moved and in the process, gave the poor thing a nick on its foot. He sold it to me for a real decent price It's just as big as my original, and it took to it's "real estate" quickly. This one differs only in that it has purple color on the tentacle tips. It's a nice looking BTA.

Thanks anyways.. I, like most of you, am impulsive and couldn't wait much longer

Moe...Yeah it is!!

Especially since I waited two years, and studied anemonia well before deciding to "go for it". I have no doubts that I was in the know, and helping the BTA to thrive. I guess my Maxijet didn't have the same schooling as I, or it'd not have decided to chomp the poor guy!

They next system will have manifolds or a loop of some sorts. I'm done with PH issues.
