Skimmer to Fit Under a 92 Corner

Ok,

So I'm keeping the 92 for now and keeping it simple...I'm picking up a small Hawaiin Dragon Moray..

2 reasons 1 they are faily easy to keep (just need to make it escape proof).

They don't require a ton of maintenece. Water quality isn't all that important (in comparison to other things)

I also will probbaly keep some softies since i really can't keep any other fish with it.

My question is what can I use for a skimmer underneath a Corner tank...it's tight and i want something really Nice... Deltec, MRC, EuroReef or whatever would be good for a messy eater...

But doesn't take up a ton of room and can go in or out of sump, but doesn't need to be raised to high...I Think I got about 30" high under there.


Any Ideas??

i think i am going to pickup an octopus skimmer for my 92, but they are kind of large. i think a euroreef would fit pretty good under them.

you have 26-28" if its a std aga.
i ran an 8-2 and a 6-2.

What about something like the Deltec MC500 or MCE600. Great skimmers and fairly small footprint.

The MC500 will not cut it!
However the TS1250 would be perfect for this. That Deltec TS series is designed for just this type of app. It will only take about 6" of your sump also.

Do these have to sit on a stand? And are they finicky about water level?

Although I really like the no plumbing aspect.

Where is the best place to get a deltec?

sorry about that....
they are an in sump, and as long as you are within the marked water level range (~3"range) run very stable. Aquarium gallery is a dealer, I was/still am but not really doing anything with them now) or they will ship direct to you.
