Hi all,
Apologies for the ambiguity of the initial post. I don’t blame you for having doubts. Here’s a little information about it and there will be more to follow as progress is made.
I’m in the process of starting an organization devoted to saving endangered coral species worldwide. The goal is to research this topic and partner with other research organizations already making headway on the matter, and use the findings to take effective action.
The research will consist of numerous stages including collection of data on history of the reefs, impacts of the regional and global environmental changes that result in the demise of the reefs and utilizing these data sets to run predictive analysis to target potential reefs at risk and taking action before “it’s too late”. There will also be extensive research on legality and governmental support of the various regions which play a major role in the effort.
I understand there are other organizations and government agencies already doing this work, but the way I see it, the more hands on helping the cause, the more timely and effective the results will be. It’s no secret time is against us on this matter.
I have already started my research and have been consulting with a friend who writes private and government grant applications by profession. Therefore grants and crowdfunding will be the source of funding this effort.
Feel free to message me directly with any questions and I’d be more than happy to brainstorm ideas if you find yourself motivated and enthusiastic about this.
Rest assured, scamming has never been of any interest for me and that applies here. I wouldn’t put my name on such a thing.
