I'm not to sure what type of coral it is but I think it might be some type of leather just not sure what type. It's spreading from rock to rock like similiar to green star polyps would but it's pink color. Any suggestions. MY tank is filled with rock so not sure how to stop it from taking over tank. Can anyone tell me what type of coral this is also?

Thanks
Kevin

I don't know what kind of coral it is, but you can try a thick kalk paste to stop it. I use a syringe and squirt the paste on my GSP. They are very stubborn so it might take a few applications.

Does it look like this.... http://www.fragoutpost.com/frag/109#a

If yes, it spreads like a plague. Try to keep is isolated on the sand bed. As for killing it, I have found nothing yet... seems to be indestructible. Multiple applications of Kalk paste seems to be your best bet.

Shawn I tried a gun against Encrusting Gorgonia, doesn't work. :D

Get yourself a elegance coral and plant it right in the middle of it.
My toadstool actually put a hurt on it.

A mesh bag full of tank sand ...Lay it on top of it!!! It will kill it!!!
