Water change question

Hello,

I'm trying to automate my water changes and have water from the sump pumped to a drain 20g at a time. Just curious, does salt water cause any problems for a septic system in this volume (20g every other week)? Not sure what it would do to the baterial flora in the tank.

Thanks

Pat

Not sure if it does anything to the tank. Moved from Malden to Wilmington about 4 years ago and it was the first time I had to deal with a septic tank.

My septic guy is usually straight up with me also... and would have told me if anything was wrong...I hope.

Personally,I would not put SW in a septic tank.
I would use it to kill poison ivy around the yard.
