Looks like ich but hard to 100% tell as photo is a little blurry when I click on it...
I thought so to caught it first day put them in qt tank and declined rapid
any other fish dying?
All of them got it
What's the on set time frame like? If it's like 2-3 days and it's covered like that my vote is velvet...sorry man

I belive I had it a while back let tank sit for 3 weeks added 4 fish at once only sand sifter doing his thing unbothered

I had an outbreak few months ago. Most died but saved a few with hospital tank with copper for 6 weeks.
Tank left fishless for 6 weeks.
Here we are a month later with another bad outbreak.
Just gonna let nature take its course and leave fallow for 3 months
