What the verdict on Hydor Koralia

I read folks were having issues when they first came out but or the folks that have had them awhile a couple questions

Everyone happy with their new Hydor Koralia powerheads???
Would you buy another and
do they move as much water as advertised or should would you suggest buying the next size up.?

Ive had mine for about 3 months no problems

I have 2 4s in a 70g. They move a lot of water. I had to play with them a lot to keep them from leaving bare spots on the bottom. I have had them on a Seio controller for a few days now. That seems to work, the pumps just hum a little on low speed. Silent on high speed.

People were having problems with the #2 and #3's... I have a #4 and it works great. I don't know what the deal is on those others that were shocking people but I know there were no problems with the #1's or #4's.

I have been running 2's and 3's off my acjr for a couple of weeks. No issues except a little rattle on startup.

We have a pair of 3's in our 46g and they work great. They replaced two medium flow (mj900) MJ Mods and we're very happy with them. We waited until after the recall and the new version was in stock to buy them. I really like the mounting system. I wasn't sure I'd like it but after playing around with it I find that it really works well. What I like most about it the ability to easily fine tune exactly where I want to flow going.

I originally bought 2 #3's and was happy with them. It was quite a hassle dealing with the recall, but they eventually sent me 2 #4's and I've been very happy with those in my 120gal. Overall an excellent pump for the price.
