Acanthurus coeruleus (Atlantic Blue Tang)

I just got one of these today, I think I got a great deal at only $15.00. This is the first one I have had, or seen at the LFS. Does anyone have any experience with these guys? Temperment, coral safe? etc? Thanks.

i have kept a few. i think paula has one as well.
very similar to a ellow tang in temperment.
love to swim. juv. are yellow and adults are a beautiful blue with lateral lines.
often fade color at night to blend in just as a yellow tang will.
not a common find (most people don't stock them), but a fairly inexpensive tang compared to a purple or a chevron.

how big is it? juvenille?

He's a juvenile, but appears to be starting to change to the blue color. I found a pic of one here....

yes. it is.

nice. i like them best w/ those colors. too bad they don't stay that way, imo.
