Still searching for the perfect skimmer for my 120 gallon set up and stumbled over ?Aerofoamer 820???I don?t anything about the technology used in these skimmers vs. the ER needle wheel.
Are the Aerofoamer?s serous skimmers and is the 820 powerful enough to handle a 120 gallon tank.
The only drawback I can think of is the need for the recommended pump per the manufacturer (MAG 24 - 55RLT) but I?m try to research energy efficient pumps that can provide a flow rate of > 1000 GPH.
Thoughts ??? I wanted to go with Euroreef CS 8-1 but a got a quote from ER for over $800 which is forcing me look for other skimmers?..The opening in my cabinet is 24.5 H X 18 W X 20 L?..looking for a skimmer that is 20 inches high at the max so it can fit in the cabinet
