Hi,
Thank you for all your suggestions. In just the past couple of days, my algae problem has improved. I cut my photo period down to 2 hours a day for now. I reduced the feeding amount also. I started on a 10% water change (every 3 days) schedule which I'll stick to until I feel that the algae is truly getting under control. In the right hand side rear chamber I placed some filter floss that I'm changing daily. It really seems to pick up a lot of the slime/algae particles that I'm blasting off the rock and the water looks much clearer. I placed an order for the Oceanic skimmer that seemed to work for people too. I haven't yet had a chance to check my phosphate levels, (will do this weekend) but I think we might be headed in the right direction. Thanks again for all the comments and suggestions.
