Another One Bites the Dust :(

Our Blue Carpet Anenome (haddoni) takes up an entire end of an 18" wide 110G Upright. Fully stretched out on the sand bed it's approximately 13-14" from end to end. It's 'foot' burrowed down through approx 6" DSB to 'stick' to the bottom glass of the tank. One side rests against LR, while 3/4 of it rests on the sand bed. It routinely stands straight up, though usually lays flat in the classic tulip state. Two Maroon Clowns host in it.

We've had this haddoni approx 20 months and so far it's not eaten any fish. We do feed it a clam/mussel approx 3 times/month. 2 Hippo Tangs, 1 Algae Blenny, and 1 Marine Betta share this tank with the Clowns.

R&S

What a monster it is. What is the smallest tank size to hold one of this?

I like the blue ones best actually.

Mine ate another chromis today, or I should say the clown has been beating it up since yesterday and today finally dragged it in. I think the clown has gone insane. Im now down to 4 fish and Im starting to have algae problems (presumably from all the dead fish in the tank) not to mention that my flatworms came back last week. Aint this hobby fun :)
