Becket Skimmers?

All I know is they require a larger pump (ie, more expensive to run) than venturi or downdraft skimmers, and the injector is also quite noisy.
Not sure they're the best choice for an under-stand skimmer, but maybe good for a basement sump.

For quiet / good skimmers, you want a recirculating. I can say though, I have a becket skimmer, and with a diffusor on the air intake and an Iwaki motor, it is not noisy.
