Biopellets? Who's using them and how do you like them?

So my tank is doing good but hey it could always do better. It's a mixed 57 gallon reef. I do water xbanges every 3 weeks 10%. I don't have a lot of rock in my tank but not to little by any means. I'm curious if the use of biopellets would be a good think for my tank? My paramaters are good right now but as the tank fills in I'm assuming its requirements will definately change. Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated. (I have researched it I just want to hear some first hand experience)

I used them for a while. They seemed to work OK but ended up (I think) fueling a lot of cyano issues. I switched over to vinegar and found that easier to use effectively, meaning that I can adjust the dose more easily and accurately.

My subjective experience has been that;
-too much carbon seems to start feeding cyano,
-too little and you don't get as much nutirent reduction and other nusiance algaes seem to start to get a foothold.)
