JUST KIDDING ITS MY KOI POND CYCLING
13,000 gallons, I almost just dove in! If it weren’t still so cold. If the koi didn’t need the home I would be heating and stocking a horn and three black tips :D
Sorry I had to

look at that shimmer 5’ deep at center plumbing under dirt, 4” gate valve in heated chamber

Are the koi staying out in the winter in the new pond?
Possibly, I use a 1/2 hp air compressor for aeration, so even in the depth of winter there is always a ring 3’ wide where the water bubbles up and rolls over. It will not freeze and the larger koi will stay dormant at the bottom of pond where they feel the most comfortable. Not sure why that happens, I was probably asleepfor that part of biology class  the fry will be brought back indoors in a greenhouse or garage (still working on next winters logistics). The young koi need to stay in Warmer water to expedite their growth, it’s tough in New England keeping animals from Japan happy. Thankfully I found a great importer in Hawaii that makes life a lot easier.
