Copper Question: NEED HELP

Tankless
Ok, my boss made a BIG mistake in his tank. He stuck a piece of copper wire in his tank as a ground probe and it was supposed to be VERY short term. Well, he forgot about it and it has been in his sump for a couple weeks. All his LPS corals look bleached but are out, his GSP's are in hiding, but look alive, and his Xenia looks like a white puddle of poo. Is he doomed? Or is there something he can do?

Take the copper out would be a good start. :)

Do some water changes and run carbon. The corals should come back fine. Shrimp are cooked.

poly pads are nice for this, they turn colors depending on what they are absorbing
think green is copper but the hard part is if the copper has bound to anything he may have trouble down the line.
