Cyano cause

After 4 months of battling cyano I have finally found my cause. It is my salt. The salt that I mixed up yesterday is getting a nitrate reading of 5-10. I plan on switching to TropicMarin. anyone have any extra that they wouldent mind selling to me? anything I should wory about with the switch?

I never had any problems switching salt, I started with IO than switch to Oceanic than NSW and then TM and for time to time I still using NSW.
Skipton's is given 20% off on TM salt this week.

just out of curiosity what salt was it and did you check the water you mixed it with first pre mix?

I am using IO. And the last time I checked newly mixed salt, I got the same thing, but I thought it was from my water so that is when I switched to RO/DI.

Did you check the RO/DI water BEFORE you mixed the salt in?

0 trates in skipton RO/DI. I put some caulerpa in the tank to bring down trates until I can get new salt.
