i use the DT's from time to time. that smells a bit funkey all the time. if yours is similar i was told to watch for build up on the botom of the container. thats the dead stuff. glaVin

I got this in September:http://www.championlighting.com/home.php?cat=528

I keep it in the fridge and feed it to corals/fish every now and then. It smells a little funky but I never smelled it before:eek:

Anyone know roughly how long this would be good for? There is a lot left.

Also I am about to place a big order from championlighting and I was thinking of buying this: http://www.championlighting.com/product.php?productid=31110&cat=728&page=1

Any opinions? Is it a waste of money?

that stuff is ok for lps but i would drain off the fluid otherwise you are adding a ton of useless nutrients

What about the zooplankton I have Liam. (top link)

Had it since September and label got ripped off. Is it still good? I have had it in the fridge the entire time. I can't find online how long it is good for.

sorry Tom,thats what i was reffering to.It should be fine still but drain off the liquid IMO.

Great, thanks. I do actually drain most the fluid. Is there anything else you have had success with feeding corals?

Thanks for the help.

not a direct food item per say,but amino acids definitely have something to them providing other nutrients are low
