I've been in this hobby almost 21 years. I've seen every snake oil in a bottle that's come along. I've made plenty of mistakes and poured usleless stuff into my aquarium. I now take a simpler approach. I use RODI water. Change 6 gallons (10%) every week using a good salt (Tropic Marin Actif). Make two part with SeaChem Reef Advantage Calcium with magnesium and Reef Builder. I add two teaspoons of AquaVitro Fuel and one teaspoon of SeaChem iodide weekly. That's it!
