I switched to those 175 Ushios 14K from a 250W S.P.S 14K which you would think would be sort of a step down with respect to wattage etc.

Did this friday...
Come in to work today to find in 2 days it had bleached out ALL my montis, several other SPS like slimers, birds nests, stags, horida etc.

yep... 175w balasts swapped them out from the 250's I was using, balast and all.

when i change bulbs, regardless of wattage i always cut the time in half that the lights are on, and slowly increase the time over a week or so.

My tank was not supposd to have a white christmas. The worst part is.... I know better than to have done that.
