MJ1200 sand storm..

Had one of my MJ1200's fall off the glass last night.. ugh.. such a mess..

I was thinking of maybe doing the mag float trick to them, until I priced mag-floats, about $20ea for the big ones. Any other ideas for securing maxijets? Will the smaller (med size) ones work or do I need the big ones?

I'm not too familiar with maxi jets, just don't use suction cups with power heads. They will fail eventually every time......

I siliconed mine in place before i filled the tank. After that if needed to move them I make brackets out of acrylic. Easy to bend w/ a torch and drill accordingly with a drill. You can mount them rite to your hood or bend them to hang on tank.

can't you get a hanger for them? i know that PHReef makes hangers for his modes, you could try to find something like that.

they come with hangers, but I have 2 of mine down in teh back about 12"" down from the top.. blowing forward thru a hole in my rocks.
