finished the LED's @ ~11:30 pm
(few breaks here and there) it was deffently straight forward and i enjoyed doing it

awesome build, are they dimmable? i did a nano LED a few years back and loved the colors. nice work

No I didn't go with the dimmable, I didn't think it would be nesscary for this tank.

Thank you. :)

You guys need to stop making me want to reset up a fish tank. Lol. That looks mighty fine sir!

That came out great! Maybe I'll do that to my 14 biocube. I like the idea of keeping the original hood and just swapping the lights. Upgrading with leds is definitely easier than when I did the pc upgrade many years ago. Nice job.

Just do it...

Can't. I don't have any room for a tank anymore as I put a bureau where it once was. I've got a good 5-10 years before my next reef tank as I need to move out and into an apartment/house of my own first. Hopefully by then picasso clowns and frozen eating Mandarins will be a dime a dozen... Lol. And maybe LEDs will be cheaper.

nice job. question for the OP...

Where did you get the components to make that dual-outlet return from your power head? id like to do something like that. currently i have one of those rotating hydor things.
