need help

I drip pickleing lime daily in my tank, well last night the jug i use for the lime broke and spilled all the powder lime into my tank! Now my tank it all white i can't see anything. i have water getting ready for a change how much should i change and what else can i do?

Tina sorry to hear that, change as much as you can. The outcome of lime/kalk ODs are usually not good

I just checked my ph and it is 8.3

yes that was before i changed the water as well. i guess it really wasn't that much that was spilled into my tank, only about a tbsp i usally dose more but my current bottle ran out and i was to lazy to go into the other room to get another. i think thing just look worse as my water is still very cloudy, i hope everything will work out

test the Calcium level. The white cloud is just Calciun Carbonate. Let it settle and you should be fine.
