I just signed up for the yearly family membership. I've had a fish only tank for 1 1/2 years and killed lots of beautiful fish. Within the past few months I've gotten into soft corals and started reaching out to see who else is into this hobby in my area. I had no idea just how large the community appears to be.

I know I have a lot to learn. For the past few months I've been totally addicted to the hobby. The only thing stopping me from spending more money than I already have is my wife and her thin patience with me asnd my new hobby.

My tank as it stands now is a 46G bow front:

2 Clowns
1 Dottyback
1 Lawnmower Blenny
various hermit crabs and snails

Small Xenia
Small Green Star Polps
Couple very small mushrooms
Some Caulerpa algae growing

40 lbs LR
20 lbs Live sand

Eheim II canister filter (Nitrate factory I'm told now)
Hang on Protein Skimmer (lame I'm told now)

NI: 0
NA: 20
PH: 8.4
AM: 0
Temp: 78
Salinity: 1.024

The above is all I test for at the moment. When it comes to livestock I'm moving very slowly and only buying the hardiest of species.

I'm looking forward to attending the BRS meeting this coming weekend with my son.

Best Regards,
Jason
