I think I maybe should have gotten the 45 as the 30 is now pretty crowded with 2 heaters and the skimmer. Eventually I am going to install this 2 chamber CA reactor I got from oneeye so I did not want to take up the whole stand. I'll test the water in a few days and see if there is any ammonia spikes. I had the damsel in there and there is plenty of clean up crew already. When I set up the tank there was a little ammonia and it went away in 1 day so I am hoping that all the establish rock I have will keep it under control. If it become too much of a problem I can move a few to the QT.

Well, if you get a bigger sump, Ill take yours off your hands for ya Actually I have a decent sump, and I added a homemade acrylic baffle in it to make a 3rd compartment.

Yea, Check the ammonia regularly. If it spikes too much, then you will probably need to do some water changes too to get it down some. As long as your monitoring it, you can hopefully react to it ok.
