Pencil sea urchin

Just got hone from work and my hammer was broken in half and my Pencil sea urchin was sitting on top of it and there look to be little pices of hammer coral around it. do they eat coral???? I dant want a su to distroy my tank. has any dody had this ploblem

Yea they eat coral.

They do eat corlas, but they don't have the ability to break them in half... Something else happened to cause that...
