Wow. I don't mean to hijack your sale thread-- could you please discuss (here or in a other thread) what's happening with those plate corals?! Looks awesome.
Np at all man. So I have a self propagating plate seen far left which naturally produces baby's. Which once they reach a certain size they release and float off to find a new spot in the tank. Or I simply remove a few to open breathing room for the new ones growing. The medium / larger ones in photo are all multiple mouth plates two of them have 3 mouths on 1 skeleton. Another smaller has 5. The skeletons under the flesh are shaped as if they never fully developed to individual plates while growing and rather share a skeleton structure.

Do the babies also do this?

Unclear as of yet first batch of good sized baby plates were sold at this year's FFM show. I have a few regulars who grabbed one and will keep me posted. Few of the frags looked like the baby stem was in tact on the plug therefore is a chance of it happening over time from that. The large 3 head mother I have had the stem still attached and did it from there until it broke off by accident but even still that peice was doing it on its own. And the day it broke had a 5 mouth fused baby on it which isn't in the photo but is still attached to that peice currently.
