Tank Storage

I have a 125gal AGA that I won?t use for another about 6 months. Is there a ?best? way to store it? I would hate anything to happen to it while it was lying around. It is down in the basement on a flat concrete floor with cardboard under it as of today. Any suggestions?

It is probably OK where it is. Figure that these things will sit on the shelf in a store or a warehouse for months under the same conditions as your basement.

As long as the tank is supported, in a low traffic area (no accidental scratches or breakage) and not exposed to extreme heat or cold you should be fine.

You may want to cover it with a blanket or another piece of cardboard to limit the amount of dust and bugs that get inside so cleaning wont be so bad when you get it setup.
