Curious as to everyone's beliefs on proper coral light acclimation. If you are consistently adding coral how would you go about this process. If the coral left similar lighting is it even necessary? Hope everyone's having a good day

I just pick the right spot according to par and location I plan on keeping them and stick them there. Feels it cuts down the stress and just let’s them acclimate better, and never have to touch them after that.

Not necessary in my opinion if similar par levels. Ask who your buying from what lighting they have that specific coral under. If different then acclimate. Observe corals

I think there’s a lot of if’s and’s and buts to this and what works for some doesn’t work for others. Normally I’m in the no acclimation needed but recently have been placing new frags on the rack at the bottom of my tank ( it’s about 250 par ) then let them start to encrust before placing them in there forever spot.
