Two little fishies reactor 150 question..

I bought a used one tried running some carbon in it but when I got the water going in the sponge that is suppose to hold it down started floating and made a mess... I had the flow dialed pretty slow... Dose any body have any experience with this reactors specially running carbon...do I need different parts to hold the carbon down and preventing it from tumbling...

switch the hoses around so that the water in blowing in a "down-draft" configuration. also put the sponge under the carbon so that it doesnt blow into the tank. I have 2 of these reactors; one running "up-draft" for bioballs so that they tumble, and one running "down-draft" with GFO so that is doesnt.
