ultra life red slime remover precautions?

so i used the correct dose have the cup off my skimmer so it overflows (hoping to add more dissolved O2), a airstone in the tank near a powerhead ,and i am keeping an eye on my PH. anything else i should be doing? getting a bit OCD about this and dont want to crash my tank :.

Just let it do its thing.

Turn off skimmer...... When u do a water change then turn it back on it will foam like crazy.... FYI make a couple extra gallons of water to replace what u lose w the skimmer ( it will be quiet a bit)

Yeah, just let it do its thing. I took the collection cup of my skimmer as well when I treated my tank years ago. Just make sure to keep following the instructions with a decent water change.

Your skimmer will go nuts but you can dial it down until it's back to normal.
