I've used the 2 blue ones coral and reef and got them for like 9 bucks ea worth that but wouldnt pay more.Color is o.k. par is minumal IMO.

I say save your money and buy some higher quality bulbs...ATI, Giesseman, UVL, etc.

i am a big T5 user, and i have not tried them and never will... ATI with Geissemann in a close second, for the win! lol

Ok thanks guys!! Now I have 8x54 watt bulbs that Im ready to replace, do I need 4 actinic bulbs or can I get away with only 2 and I have 4 10000K bulbs, should I throw in a 12000K or 6000K or just keep all 10000K bulbs????

myself, i would use 4 ati blue plus bulbs, 2 ati aquablue 12k's, and 2 KZ fiji purples... that is not my configuration, but its what i recommend to people... or 3 blue plus and 3 aquablue special 12k's... but tahts jus me and many would disagree i am sure... GL
