Wife wants a nano

Wife asked me to do a small nano for the kitchen consisting of sun polyps and other small non-photo corals & a couple of gobies.


What do I look for? I have no experience in nano's I am thinking about 6-8 gallons in size and fully contained with skimmer and such. I am also going to plan a auto-topoff under the counter for evaporation.

I've been really happy with my 8g oceanic thingy. It has no skimmer, but I keep macro algae in it insted. Very easy to care for.

Kevin. We have a used one at the store for like $50. It was the one on the counter across from the register. Good shape, and just got broke down yesterday.

Yes! easy is good

Just a few nice sun corals and some little fish, live rock sand and a minthx crab would be pretty simple.

It's hard to keep a nano clean when feeding suncorals. They take so much food to keep them healthy, it's amazing.

No thank you guys!! wife loves it and it is already cycling. Had a hard time with the skimmer so i am running without that but everything else is super!
