BTA split what do I do now....

Well I came home from work lastnight to find that my bta had split. What do I do now to take care of the two of them now. Thanks I am trying to figure out how to post pics feom my phone.

how do i know if they are ok? why did it split? can i keep them both in the same tank?

when they reproduce they split......the one that split will eventually split again sometime in the future......they should be perfectly fine...just feed each one now........they dont split immediately....but u should have been able to see the anenomie as like a heart shape before they split.........but again they should be fine......its just the way they reproduce............

What size tank do you have ? and as long as you feed em they'll be ok and congrats now your a father of two beautiful bta's light up the cigar's lol

I tried feeding them small pieces of silversides but they did not eat. Also I had my water tested two days ago and they said my nitirates were high. Do I do a water change now or wait?

what size is ur tank...............what level are the nitrates are...and how often do u do ur water changes.....and yea i would do a water change 20% weekly to get them down.......imo

Also , If you have clowns, they feed the BTA's for you.... when my Maroons get done eating, they feed mine... Just a suggestion.

Its a 55 and they said nitrates around 40 I do have clowns 2 of them
