Moving into our new apartment this coming Saturday and I figured it was just about time to convert the acrylic tank I picked up some months ago and make it the new sump to fit under my stand.
I still need to finish up my ph probe holder and make something to secure the drain line.
Top down view of the sump. Water drains into it in the bottom right hand corner. Flows across that section, through a slit and into the skimmer section (large square). Then overflows in the the rectangle at the bottom of the photo where some live rock will be stashed. Then into the return pump section.
This photo is the back of the sump that will be facing the wall. The return section is on the left in the photo
. The long section on the right will hold live rock.
