@Chris.Reef hooked me up since I broke my 3D printer (don't ask) and haven't been able to fix the hotend (have parts just no time lately). He printed me some bioshere racks to better organize my sump! Also have me room to add a second box I had but never threw in since I didn't want to make the sump even messier!

I ended up tearing/straining my hip flexor playing softball this weekend playing like I was still in my 20s. Ortho doctor thinks I'll be out of work 6-8 weeks. I am supposed to be resting this week before starting PT next week which is a bummer as I am trying to lay low and leave tank alone.
With all my free time I will try and update the thread more!
I was able to further automate the ATO setup and used two more solenoid valves and a delay relay timer (https://a.co/d/0Nm32Gm). This thing is pretty cool and it has 7 different ways to trigger it. I chose the option to trigger it when it receives power and I wired it into the signal coming from the XH-M203 (https://a.co/d/fPOiOXB) switch that turns on power to the solenoid once both float valves go down (prevents RODI from turning on and off constantly). When the XH-M203 turns power on it opens up the normally closed solenoid and fills up. I split the wire to trigger/power on the delay relay timer and it turns on power for 2 minutes to a normally closed solenoid I plumbed into the flush kit and also a normally open solenoid I put in before the SI resins so the RODI gets flushed every time the RODI unit automatically fills up the ATO!

This is the normally open solenoid to allow for normal RODI making. When the delayed relay trigger applies power it closes it so no water gets through to the DI resin portion.

I also extended the normal flush valve out so I don't have to pull out everything under the train layout to flush the system manually.

In case I forgot to put this I placed a valve on the ceiling to the line going to the ATO so I can shut it off and then turn the two other valves that I T'ed off and ran extensions for the waste water and RODI lines so I can manually fill for water changes or water for phyto...

All in all it's been a fun project and man is it nice not to have to worry about filling up ATO. I really like the setup especially now that I have the auto flush setup. I like that the whole setup utilizes a dual float switch so the solenoid to kick on the RODI to refill the ATO doesn't constantly turn on and off which would deplete the DI resin much faster.

Has to take a break from tank due to the leg injury. Been back at work for a few weeks and haven't had time to do much. Lost most of my phyto cultures and no clue how the pod cultures are going. Wife's summer break is almost over and she'll be back teaching in a few weeks and plan to start phyto back up and clean the tank and get back on the horse!

Finally actually had a day off to tackle some tank stuff. Haven't done a water change since I hurt my leg back in June and I forced myself to do it today as I ordered some fish that got delivered today

Added some more rock to the remote fuge and also trimmed some of the gorgonians from the DT that were getting a little out of control. It was a PITA to scraped the corraline of the glass with the curved edges...

Ended getting a green clown goby, tail spot blenny and a kupang damsel for the remote fuge. The clown goby and damsel already ate a little while ago which was nice. I know I should have setup the QT tank but the vendor I went with claims to quarantine their fish so I'm telling myself that's why I didn't QT them

Got 3 green chromis and 3 threadfin cardinals for the DT. They're in the acclimation box until the lights go out. I had the lights out all morning but turned them on about an hour ago and the chromis are and the cardinals picked at the food which was good.

Lost two of the chromis and two of the cardinals but everything else is doing well despite my best efforts to ignore the tank! Two mandarins are still fat and healthy. Scrapped the tank a few days before Fragsgiving as it was getting a little out of hand!

Wife was having a family zoom tonight and I started the basement clean up project that is well needed. I had made a new shelving unit out of 2020 extrusion to replace the plastic shelving and swapped that out. I thought her family zoom would have been done but I had 20-30 extra minutes but I'll be back down there tomorrow on a rare day off!
