cocoa worm question

i just bought a cocoa worm two days ago from AG. it has only come out for 10 minutes yesterday but was out at night. this morning it was out but my sister was bumping around and it wnet in. it hasnt come out since

should i be concerned?

have had one for about two years. sometimes out for days on end, then when I think it might had died comes out again. strange. havent figured the thing out. my water quality pretty much remains the same, same with lights and flow so dont know.

They can be a bit shy at first. But as long as no one harasses it it should be fine.

I agree, Gina wanted one for a while and when she got one it never came out during the day. A few months after putting it in, it was just out one day during daylight hours, from then on it has always been out. If something scares it, it will retract and may not come out right away, nothing to worry about.
