Do I have enough Flow?

I have a modified Nanostream 6045 and modified 6025 in my tank. Each is mounted at each end of a 72G bowfront. Is this enough?

OK...I have 2 modified Nanostream 6025 and 1 modified 6045 and still I don't think I have enough flow. I have a 72G bow front tank. I have mostly softies, some LPS and a few SPS. Is this enough or am I over doing it?

As you know I've got the same tank as you and all I have is 2 koralia 3's in addition to my return. Between those 3 I feel that I have more than enough flow my LPS and SPS.

The reason why I asked is because with these 3 power heads I see slow gentle flow in my tank. Just curious how can you tell if you have enough flow for the corals? All the polyps are open and extended.

Put one of the 6025 on the back of the tank in the middle and point all tunze slightly toward the surface.

3 in a 72 should be fine. You're talking up to 3000+ gph, plus your return.

Which mods do you have on the nanostreams? Mine are full blast, and the one in the middle has the shortened nose for wider flow.

I'm not sure. I did the mod where I have to cut the piece inside the nose. Which one is that?

Lets see in my mixed 65g I had 2 vortechs on reefcrest mode full blast, a tunze wavebox and a blueline 40 as a return......IME you can never have to much flow, try as get as much possible without blowing the sandbed around....

In my 30g I have 2 6025's and about 300gph return......

In my tank I have about 4000GPH flow. I would like to add more but no more room to place another PH. Maybe it's time to upgrade to a stronger PH.
