Is this enough flow?

I recently upgraded to MH lights and am now trying to figure out if I need to change my flow rate. I have a 90 gal with a mag 9.5 sump return with about 5.5 feet to head hieght, one aquaclear 70 (400 gph) and two powersweep 216 (?) that put out 190 gph a piece. Does this sound like enough flow? If not suggestions would be nice on what to remove and what to add, thanks.

If you are mainly going SPS you are going to need to bump that up quite a bit. You might want to consider going with a couple of maxi mods or tunzes. Remember that a lot of SPS like strong intermitent flow.

In that case you probably look for a turnover of30 to 40 times your tank volume.Probably look at tunze or maxi jet mod.

what about a seio 1100, I see that someone might still have one for sale here. What should I be looking for flow rate given by in-tank heads?

I just looked at the tunze turbelle stream 1600 gph model and for those of you who have tunzes is it a small streamline that these put out or does it fan the flow to reduce a concetrated stream?
