Mesh Mod

Hello I have a question about one of my protein skimmer., a friend just lead me to this mesh mod stuff and it all seem wonderful ,.

My 2 question is.. anybody in this forum use this before?


Where do you buy mesh? Enkamat Mesh Mod ? can I buy this from home depot or lowes?

many have used the mesh to increase the efficiency of skimmers. It worked well for me.

You can't get it from your typical home center IIRC.As Jaym said the mesh is an inexpensive way to boost the performance and capacity of your skimmer.As with most things there are advantages and disadvantages.....it clogs which is going to reduce it effectiveness also it wears out and needs to be replaced every 6 mo or so.

mine lasted over a year, and I just added a new layer and re-tiewrapped it
