lol... that makes zero sense... the whole skimmer is less than the pump?
"The pump is the heart of the skimmer."
You like that?I just made that up... on my own. I don't know!

lol.. that's odd.
I wonder if it's truly a 1500 on the skimmer? Add says it is... but??? for 650 right now i can get the whole skimmer pump included.... but oh yeah if you want to just buy the pump gimme 850? Say whattt???
Cool. I stand corrected. So you've heard that these mini pumps are in the $350 range?
Sweet. CS is a good guy. So you're going 24" deep (front to back)?
the aquactinics constellation is a great fixture. one big downside imo to the api is that all of their fixtures only have 2 bulbs for actinics. and then the rest are on another switch. be it 4 or 6.
The constellation has 3 sepparate switches(2x2x3)
Weeeeee a new tank!!!!!!!! I am picking up my CS made tank on the 28th!!!!!!!!
No, that would constitute at least a new stand... proabably a new light too... so i decided to ditch that idea. Would have been nice though.
Haven't decided on final dimensions yet... either 48x18x17 or 48x18x20
I understand needing a new stand. But with the lighting you could keep it forward, above the tank and your corals forward as well. The darker back wall would give the tank a nice sense of added depth. That was my plan if I had gone with Lumenarc Minis. I'll probably still try it with my tank.
hmmm maybe i won't completely throw it out yet... I'll talk it over with CS and see how much extra it would cost to add 6" front to back... then if i do that i'll have to figure out a stand... but hey, i've got all summer.
