Thanks guys. There's nothing to be envy about. Anyone can do this.

Those are strong words "ANY" not so sure. ;)
Tank looks great and your pictures are really good too.

I like your fish selection also.

Sad News Coming......

I will be breaking down this tank within the next 6 months.
It's unfortunate that I cannot continue with this tank especially everything is growing so well in the tank.
Stay tuned and watch for the next tank build.

Oh no, why why why?

He is going bigger and the tank is on the way to his house soon.

nice tank! What is the MH fixture (brand)? I have a DSA190 coming, about the same size as this tank and want to switch back to MH / T5 rather than use my Radion G3 PRO's.

Hi,
Thanks for the compliment. As for the light fixture, it's an Elos Planet II. 2x250W DE MH and 4x39W T5. It's an absolutely gorgeous fixture and cool to the touch when running full blast.
Unfortunately, they don't make this anymore and it's very difficult to find one. This is true for a lot of the MH/T5 fixtures nowadays. Geismann also have very nice MH/T5 fixtures but getting one is also can be a challenge but possible. The trend of the market is leaning toward LED and LED/T5.

Never tried it with a full spectrum fixture. I might take your challenge on that if I go Radion Pro.
However, I bought this 72" Giesmann Spectra years and years ago before the Elos 160XL thinking that I was going to get a 6' tank that I'm dying to use. I'll be running the legendary Radium metal halide. If I don't like it, I will swap out the internal components and mount the LED in the fixture. I just got to experience the Radium.

Anyway, I got bored of the tank and how everything is growing and coloring so I decided to spice it up a little. Got angels in the tank and now my SPS are bald(No polyps extension) due to nipping. Now it's fun to decide if they're worth the bald SPS for them and how I should master mind a fish catching technique. I love this hobby.

Just look at all the fish. How exciting!
Yes, that's a pair of masked swallow tail angel. And a pintail fairy wrasse at the end.
