Not always true, Dave. We are using a Spectrapure RO/DI at the shop, and it is rated for 1,400 gpd, and we are getting 0ver 98% rejection, and because of our low TDS to begin with we are getting a product to waste ration of about 1:3...not too bad.

Okay I got around to hooking up the pump and new filters. Now it shows 14 TDS but seems to still be dropping. The pressure gauge jumps all over the place so I can't really tell what it is running at it spikes up to 100 if you can believe the gauge. When the pump shuts off it looks to be around 75 it drops to a little above 50 and turns back on does this seem normal?
